I don’t want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I’m not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It’s like Tiffany’s.

Audrey Hepburn - Top Historical Hottie

Watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s for the third or fourth time last night and still thoroughly enjoyed it. Apart from Mickey Rooney’s dated and fairly racist portrayal of the buck-toothed Japanese landlord Mr. Yunioshi, I really don’t have anything to complain about, and that’s saying alot.  The script, escpecially Holly’s lines and her dialogues with Paul, is so well done that, even had Holly been portrayed by Anne Coulter, I might still find the character attractive.  That being so, Hepburn really makes this movie for me.  Seriously, is she ever not gorgeous?

Wish I was you George Peppard!

Wish I was You, George Peppard

Also, damn smoking was cool.

Truman Capote, who wrote the novella on which the film is loosely based, originally pictured Marilyn Monroe in the roll of Holly when he sold the the film rights. Hussie! Anyway, here’s to you Ms. Golightly! You may be a phoney, but you’re a real phoney.
